New Building of State Opera

The State Opera building was in great disrepair and therefore building renovation was urgently required. The first phase consisted of construction of a new extension and complex conversion of the existing building's attic. All works were done while the opera was in full operation.

There are new changing rooms for orchestra members and accommodation spaces for host performers in the converted attic. There are new offices, a room and a stage for training purposes, changing rooms and a costume store room in the new extension. Fit out for a new cafe is planned to be done in the second phase of the project.
